In this third edition of the e-newsletter we report on our recent events in Strasbourg and Brussels, and present the most recent project publications.

On 16 November 2008 an EDC2020 panel took place at the European Development Days in Strasbourg. About 70 participants came together to discuss the impact of emerging powers on local governance in partner countries. Some panelists' presentations and video statements recorded by Euforic are now available online.
On 29 October our first Briefing to Parliamentarians and Policy-Makers on "The EU, Africa and China: opportunities and challenges of a trilateral cooperation" was held in Brussels. Together with our panelists and about 70 participants we discussed the most recent EC Communication on EU-Africa-China trilateral co-operation as well as the question which further opportunities and challenges occur and what they imply for political decision-making, policy-making and research.The report and several video statements recorded by Euforic are now available online.
From 24-28 June 2008 the EADI General Conference took place in Geneva, Switzerland. The full report is now available. Click here for download (1,5 MB).
